CigArest Contest Flip Mino HD Giveaway
While I was talking to Julie Stratford the other day regarding her Kindle 2 giveaway, I had an idea; I wanted to incentivize people to write about the benefits of quitting smoking.
So here it is, I am giving away a brand new Flip Mino HD Camcorder to one lucky person that writes about the benefits of quitting smoking, let me introduce you to:
The CigArest Contest
What is the contest about? If you are an active smoker, ex-smoker or a second hand smoker you know the harm that smoking causes to your health or to the health of others.
The contest main objective is to spread (even more) the word about the harms of smoking, so let’s go to the rules of the CigArest contest:
1. Simply, write a blog post about the “benefits of quitting smoking” and send a trackback (link) to this post. The post doesn’t need to be huge; about 200 words should be enough. If you don’t have a blog this would be the perfect opportunity to start one 
2. Follow @Quittips on Twitter.
3. Tweet about this contest using the hashtag #quittips
4. Leave a comment on this post saying that you have followed all the rules. Only one comment per person will be allowed.
Everyone can enter this contest, but the Flip Mino HD Camcorder can only be shipped to the U.S. so if you are outside the United States and you win, the prize will be paid with a Cafe Press Gift Card for the same value of the Camcorder + Shipping.
The winner will be picked from the comments using Random.org, the comments on this blog are numerated so, by accepting only one comment per person, everyone will have the same chance of winning.
The contest starts on April, 14 2009 and ends May, 14 2009 at noon EST.
The winner will be announced here on the blog and the lucky person will be contacted for shipping details within 1 or 2 days.
